

Edna Garcia Vicario was born in Colton, California, to Aurelio Garcia and Rosario Gonzales. She lived in California all her life and was the youngest of seven siblings. Edna had a passion for being a homemaker. She loved listening to music, cooking traditional Mexican dishes from scratch, sewing, and keeping her home immaculately clean. Her greatest joy in life was raising her children and caring for her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Ventura; her sons, Raymond Vicario (Linda) and Alex Alvarez; and her daughters, Mary Vicario, Naomi Herrera (Louie), and Mary Medina (Joe). She also leaves behind 21 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren, and 40 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense pride and happiness. Edna was preceded in death by her sons John Joseph Vicario and Salvador “Chito” Escandon, her daughter Edna Jr. D. Vicario, her daughter-in-law Catherine Rose Alvarez, son-in-law Richard Carrillo, and her grandchildren Raymond Jr. Vicario and Gina Marie Herrera. Edna loved her family wholeheartedly and was always there to help anyone in their time of need. She will be deeply loved, remembered, and greatly missed by all who knew her.
