Ed was "Grandpa Candy" to my children and family since we moved to Ontario in 1985. He got his name because he and Lou always had a bowl of candy just inside the door and when my daughter was just learning to talk, she ran next door and asked him, "Grandpa, candy?" Of course he obliged and earned his sweet name for life. Ed may have had a gruff exterior but he had a soft heart for me and my kids and we will miss him very much.

I am saddened to see of Eds passing. While I was employed at Draper Mortuary for many many years, Ed and Lou were always so friendly to me. My prayers go out to the family at this time.
