Elizabeth Ruth White

“Beth” was born August 31, 1954 in Fredericksburg, VA. Her parents, Thomas Reno Fender of Orlando FL and Dorothy Ethyl Wilhorn Fender of Spokane WA. ,moved back to Oregon when she was a young girl. She remained in Oregon where she met Philip Gary White who was active in the Navy from 1968 to 1972, stationed in San Diego.CA.

Beth & Gary White married in 1976 and moved to Ontario, CA, where Gary was a salesman and Beth worked for Montgomery Wards in the retail office. Gary’s job required frequent traveling allowing them to visit many exotic destinations until his death in 2020.

Beth and Gary lived in Rancho Ontario MHP from 1983 until her death in 2024. Beth served on the Homeowners Social Association in many different capacities from President to Treasurer which she was currently serving. She was instrumental in the organization of the monthly events, and was devoted to making sure everyone got a hot meal at the annual Thanksgiving dinner and a present at our annual Christmas Dinner/Show. Beth also made sure a special invitation was sent to our Local Firefighters and Police Officers where she always introduced them and gave them the special recognition they deserved.

Beth is survived by a brother in law and sister in law, Sterling & Phyllis Varner of AZ, two nephews Rich Varner of Lake Forest, CA , Brian Varner of Fullerton, CA. and Brother in – law, Michael White , Cave Creek AZ.

She is also survived by a community of people who knew her and her closest friends who loved her as family. She is in our thoughts daily and will remain in our hearts forever.
