Ernest William Romero Sr.

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Ernest “Ernie” Romero Sr. Ernie entered in to rest at the age of 69 on Friday, August 2, 2024. He resided in Ontario, California his entire life and is survived by a large loving family:

His wife Belinda

His daughter Bernadette, her husband Fidel, and grandchildren Jakob and Natalie.

His son Ernie Jr as well as his grandsons; Jeren, Zaiah, Elio, Roman

His daughter Sonia,her husband Carlo and grandsons Ezekial and Lukas.

His daughter Sarah and her fiancé Teresa.

His son George, his fiancé Brianna and grandkids Marleene, George, and Lucy.

As well as his daughter Cecily and Son, Ruben.

His siblings: Rosie Bunch, Mac & Gloria Copas, Rudy Roybal, Dario & Alma Romero, Deliah & Richard Leon, Carol Romero, Sandra “Nana” Romero, Lupe Romero, Janet Perez, Sylvia Quezada, Anna Macias, Ramona Garcia, Dora Lee Nunziata, and Paula Lorenza Romero.

He is preceded by: His parents: Dario “Yayo” & Lupe Romero. His brothers: Arthur, Derrell, Frank, and Paul Romero. His sister Alice “Tootsie” as well as her daughter Saundra Romero

Ernie had a passion for classic cars, which he pursued his entire life. More than that, he had a passion for family. He was a strong, loving and honorable man. Anything he said or did always had consideration for others and protection for his family. He stood his ground but held no grudges. He was stern but maintained a heart of gold. He was untouchable, but not unreachable. He always knew the intentions of others and respected individuality regardless. His helping hands were always prepared for a beckoned call.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and compassion that will be carried on by his family and friends…until we all meet again.
