

Esther Gonzales Santoyo was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, Great Grandmother, Great- Great Grandmother, aunt, sister, and child of God. Surrounded by family, she went peacefully to her heavenly home on August 17, 2023. Born and raised in Chino, California on October 10, 1933 to Antonio and Jacinta Gonzales, she lived a beautiful life filled with love and devotion to her family and friends.
Esther enjoyed participating in many school events with her children and was a talented artist creating dish gardens, sewing custom clothes, and cooking delicious traditional meals. In addition to being a retired certified nursing assistant, Esther volunteered as a Cub Scouts den mother, a receptionist at Chino Valley Hospital, and a teacher of quilting arts at the Chino Senior Center.
Esther was predeceased by her husband, Edward, and her son, Raymond. She is survived by daughter, Susie (Santoyo) Mills and Bob of Ontario, CA; daughter, Loretta Santoyo of Kingsland, GA; daughter, Mary Ellen (Santoyo) Osburn and Rick of Fayetteville, NC; and son, Martin and Lisa of Boise, ID; Daughter In-law Sally from Chino, 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; and brother, Gilbert Gonzales and Della of Upland, CA..
