Eugene Charles Craig

Gene grew up in Ontario, CA and attended elementary school, junior high, and Chaffey High School there. He graduated high school in 1957. After high school, Gene joined the U.S. Army, where he was a pilot. He was stationed in Korea and later at Fort Ord in Monterey, CA.

After leaving the army, Gene got an entry-level job at General Dynamics and began taking college classes at Chaffey Community College. He later transferred to California State University, Fullerton and earned a Bachelor’s degree in History. He continued his career at General Dynamics (later Hughes Aircraft and Raytheon) as an OSHA compliance officer. Gene was married to Chris in 1982 and they shared a loving marriage for 42 years.

Gene is survived by Chris and two daughters Kathleen and Rebecca. He also leaves two stepchildren, Michelle (Shane) and Sean (Rachel), two grandsons Michael and Ryan, granddaughter Brandie, and dog Huckleberry.
