My deepest condolences to Gerald's entire family. I knew Gerald from college, USD. I just remember Gerald was a very friendly and easy-going guy. He was always smiling. Always ready for a good time, we had a few adventures in Rosarito for Spring Break.  Great times! Rest in peace now, brother.

My time with Gerald aka “Chuck” was when he was young. He was a great kid, always fun to be with and grateful for your time spent with him. I remember putting together GI Joe and Star Wars toys with him on Christmas night, late Christmas night! 😳 His smile filled your heart. I took him four wheeling a lot up in Mt. Baldy, he was always willing to go for a ride. Russian Attack video game, that kid couldn’t lose and I couldn’t win, didn’t matter it was always fun to play with him. He loved his family deeply that was without question. If you treated him like family he loved you back with all of that love, big smile and that Gerald Laugh! Last time that we spoke on the phone, probably year or maybe two, it was like we just spent the day together that very day, his fond memories of us together were incredibly touching. I Love You Chuck!
Thank You for sharing your young life with me. The picture posted below took place the day after Gerald left us. I saw a deer while hiking in the Santa Monica Mountains  early that morning and this deer let me walk up slowly and pet him. I thought I gotta get a selfie of this and the picture below was the result. I had been thinking so much of Gerald that morning I know that it was God telling me Gerald is with me, it’s okay. 🙏🏼❤️😊

 My condolences and prayers to the Acuna family and friends. I had the opportunity to meet and work with Gerald a little over 3 years ago and he was Kind, Smart and Funny. Thank you Gerald for your all your help.  

Gerald was a kind and gentle man with a positive attitude. The world is a lesser place without him. I was honored to know him and enjoyed working with him and being around him.


Cousin, may you Rest In Peace in paradise. You would make me laugh when you were a little boy, the way you use to pick on Margaret and then act like you didn’t do it. Love you.   Tia  Nini and Mimi, Tim, Mary Lou and boys my prayers for strength to help you get through these days.

I don't have many memories of family when I was little since I was born much later than most of my family.  Just know you are one of my earliest memories of family when I was growing up. Although some of those memories were of torment from you when we were kids, I wouldn't change it for the world. LOL Thank you for giving me memories of "family" when I didn't have many. You were pretty much the only cousin I knew. I am so grateful for seeing you and Mimi on your last trip here to Vegas.  You will be dearly missed. Rest peacefully cousin and know that I am so unbelievable proud of you.

Gerald and I grew up in the same neighborhood attended Jr high and high school together. We kept in touch during family gatherings. He always had a smile on his face and our conversations would always end with laughter. He will truly be missed.... 
I will continue to pray for Gerald's mother,  Mimi and her boys during this difficult time.
