In 1946 Gertrude met and married Paul Howard Taylor. Gertrude and Paul were happily married for 47 years and in 1947 they had a son, Larry Earl Taylor, whom they loved with all their hearts.
Gertrude was called home to heaven on December 4, 2025. Her husband, Paul Taylor, son Larry Taylor, brother Cliff Wynn, and niece Vickie Mineck where there to greet her.
She will be greatly missed by her granddaughter, Melissa Taylor, great grandson Paul Stanley, daughter-in-law Diane Taylor, nieces and nephews Kathy Poole, Steve Poole, Carol Julius, Leann Marshall, and Jay Mineck.
