

With deep sadness, the family announces the passing of Gina Marie Herrera of Chino, California. Gina was born on May 31, 1974, in Upland, California, to Louie and Naomi Herrera. She peacefully entered heaven on November 11, 2025, surrounded by her family and friends.
Gina was a beloved daughter and sister, as well as a cherished aunt, godmother, and dear friend. Her warmth, laughter, and genuine kindness touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She will be remembered for her loving, fun, and strong personality, as well as her generosity and willingness to help others.
Gina had a passion for cooking, baking, and creating beautiful floral arrangements. She shared her talents with family, friends, and the community, always bringing joy to those around her. Her greatest joy was taking care of all her nephews and nieces, nurturing them with love, guidance, and support.
Gina is survived by her parents, Louie and Naomi Herrera, her siblings Louie Herrera III (Melany), Eileen Herrera (Anthony), Irene Dominguez, and Paul Herrera (Jennie), and her grandmother Edna Vicario (Ventura). She loved her family deeply, including all her nephews and nieces: Louie Herrera IV(Marissa), Giovanni Dominguez Jr. (Tatyana), Paul Herrera Jr., Jenni Herrera, Gemma Herrera, Gianna Herrera, Sahlyst Campos, Damien Campos, Adrian Campos, Nathan Herrera, Ryan Herrera, Isaiah Herrera, and Jacob Herrera, as well as her great-niece Alexandria and great-nephews Louie V and Zayden.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Louis and Teresa Herrera, her godmother Edna Vicario, her uncles Chito Escandon and Richard Herrera, and Ernie Gonzales, the love of her life, with whom she shared 16 cherished years.
Gina will be remembered for her generosity, her willingness to help anyone in need, and the love she shared so freely. Her loss leaves a profound void in the lives of her family and all who loved her.
Services will be held at Draper Mortuary, 811 North Mountain Ave, Ontario, CA 91762. Visitation will take place from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life at a private location at 7:00 PM.
