

James was born on January 20, 1926 to William and Eileen Clemons. He spent his early years in Topeka, Kansas where he grew up as the youngest of 3 siblings. Always eager to learn, James quickly became known for his curious and meticulous nature.
After completing high school, James was accepted to the University of California, Riverside, where he graduated with a degree in agriculture. It was here that he met his future wife, Meredith. They enjoyed dancing and traveling together. Over the years, they explored much of the country before settling down in Ontario, California with the birth of their first son, Christopher. Three years later they welcomed a daughter, Kelly Ann. James was a proud family man and will be remembered fondly by those who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and compassion that will be carried on by his family and friends.
James was preceded in death by his parents and oldest brother Jerry.
He is survived by his loving wife Meredith, his two children, and three grandchildren.
