Aunt Jeanie Lopez:

In loving memory of my Aunt Jeanie (Candelaria) Lopez, a sweet and dedicated Mother, Sister, Aunt, Daughter and friend of many in her immediate community in Chino, California. 

Our Aunt Jeanie originally had a long and hard life that began in New Mexico that began after the Era of the Roaring Twenties and before the Depression of the 1930's, the Best and the Worst of Times in that Century. She later moved to California and took up residence in the Pomona Valley to be near her Mother and other family living there. 

According to her Sister Ruth (Candelaria) Vallejo, Aunt Jeanie was a vibrant, free and happy spirit in her youth and they enjoyed each other's company during their celebration of youth, and they had many good times in those early years.  

Aunt Jeanie often expressed her love for her family and I am sure she will miss her family, too many to list here. Just understand that she has many Nephews and Nieces who love her and Great Nephews and Great Nieces who Love her, and who will also miss her Beautiful smile. 

I can only guess as to how our Aunt Jeanie would like to be remembered, but I do know that she would have liked to be known a faithful servant of the Lord Jesus Christ, as she prayed and worshipped him regularly. 

Although she lived a Spartan like life she loved living in her home that was purchased for her by her late son Freddie.

If you didn't get to know our Aunt Jeanie then let me tell you that not only was she a "Strong Woman", but she was a person who was also able to relate to others and able to reciprocate that love to family and others when engaged in concerns of the Lord, and of the heart. In addition, her strong will may have distanced herself at times but she was always eager to re-engage in interpersonal relationships if you were interested as her great heart and spirit allowed for this, as my parents knew first-hand.

I Love you Aunt Jeanie and I will never forget your wise and kind words regarding God, family, and respect for our family heritage. I know the Lord is just as happy to have you in his company as is your Son Freddy.

Aunt Jeannie was a sweet Aunt, she was my fathers sister. A loaner but she had prayers and well wishes for everyone.She was always praying and always at church. She did not want to burden anyone.  I will miss you so, so much Dear Tia! Rest in peace with Jesus you deserve it, and with your only son Freddie JR.,  you both have been apart so very long. Tell all our family in HEAVEN Hello, especially my mother and my father tell them I LOVE and miss them very very much. Untill we meet again dear Tia....
