Jeffrey David Don, age 51, passed away on December 19, 2021 at his home in Menifee, CA after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born in Richmond, VA on April 18, 1970 and is preceded in death by his parents, David Don and Lois “Jenette” Hubbard; his brother, Bob Wolfe; and sisters, Connie Barnes and Dalin Sims. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Don; his three sons, Marco Velasco, Jeffrey Don, Nicolas Don; his grandson, London Velasco; his sisters, Debbie Finken and Lynn Weidman; and his brothers, Bill Wolfe and Lee Wolfe.
Jeff moved from Illinois to Alta Loma, CA with his family in 1983 and California became his new home state. Right out of high school, he and his dad opened their shop, Sound Off Car Stereo, so he could pursue his interest in car audio systems and car shows. He later worked in home theater sales and installation and then as an installation technician for fire and alarm systems. After an injury made it impossible to continue working in that profession, he turned his hobby, selling on eBay and Amazon, into his next career. He was able to be his own boss and work from home. Jeff loved the thrill of the hunt and had a great eye for finding deals and lost treasures and then selling them for profit.
Jeff enjoyed being outdoors, either working on his yard or just relaxing on the patio and listening to music. He was mister fix-it around the house and if he didn’t know how to fix it, he’d be on YouTube learning how to do it himself. Jeff loved taking short road trips to the mountains and beaches in Southern California, the San Diego Bay was one of his favorites. He was a lifelong San Diego Chargers fan (now Los Angeles Chargers) and he rarely ever missed watching a game. For several years, he was a season ticket holder and loved tailgating at Qualcomm Stadium. He had recently moved with his family to Menifee, a city he loved because of how quiet and less hectic it seemed to live there. Jeff was always kind and respectful to people he met and he had a humble and friendly personality. His family loves and misses him tremendously, and he will always be remembered as a great father and husband.
