Jo Anne Browning

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of JoAnne Browning of Claremont, California. JoAnne entered into rest at the age of 87 on Saturday, October 21, 2023. JoAnne was born in Minnesota on September 4, 1936. JoAnne lived with her mother, Eunice and grew up and attended schools in Highland Park. In 1954 JoAnne graduated high school. In 1954 JoAnne married Delmore Alfred Browning. Together they had 4 daughters, Jody, Kathy, Vicki and Teri Jo. On April 12, 1979 JoAnne was adopted by Julian Sylvester Peterson. JoAnne worked for SoCal Gas as a utility clerk. After 28 years JoAnne retired and enjoyed staying at home and being with her family.

She is survived by Jody Auldridge and Son-in-Law Doug Auldridge, Kathy Browning, Vicki Velazquez, Teri Jo Schneck and Son-in-Law John Schneck, Grandson Nathan Johnson, Great Grandsons Noah and Jacob
