Joan Marie Harrison

Joan was a loving mother, wife and neighbor living most of her life in Laguna Beach, CA with her husband James and son Craig.

Joan was born in a small town in Arizona, married the love of her life “Jimmy” right out of high school as he was drafted into the Korean war.

Joan pursued many careers but always made time for her priority, her family. She traveled the world as an airline consultant guiding young women as stewardesses and agents. For a short while Joan followed her passion for dance with a studio in Laguna training young girls in the artform of classical dance. She became a successful real estate agent in her home town and partnered with Jimmy to create very successful training programs for aspiring realtors.

Joan spent many years with her love, Jimmy in retirement in Laguna relaxing with their cherished ocean views and studying the bible as faithful Christians.

Joan had out-lived both Jimmy and Craig. They are all fondly remembered by relatives and friends for loving natures and big smiles.

Joan Harrison will be laid to rest alongside Jimmy and Craig at Bellview Memorial Park on September 15th, 2025 at 9:00am. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in the name of Joan & James Harrison to your favorite military assistance charity.
