I just noticed Johns name in the paper, I am so sorry, LuAnn and Jackie, I will always have great memories of your Dad!!

My Grandfather was special, he was my best friend. I learned so much from him. He was like a history lesson from WW11 to his police background. My best memories were going to my first Dodger games, and him coming to my baseball and football games. All my friends loved him and loved to hang out with him whether it was lunch during the week or just hanging out at his house. I learned so much about life and I will never forget him and will always think about him and love him for the rest of my life. Rest in peace Chief, Father,Grandfather and friend. I love you. Uncle John was my Godfather & I had a chance to visit with him in 2000, the only time I was in California. My contacts with him were few, but the memory I have of him was that he was a very honorable man. He now has joined his beautiful bride & my wife who went to heaven this past Christmas on Dec.20 May they enjoy the rewards they have earned!!!

It was an honor to represent my family, Uncle John's niece's and nephews, children of his sister Ann Wessely Breiter, at Uncle John's funeral celebration.  While he is now singing "glory to God", my wish for family and friends is Peace, now and forever.  Pat Breiter-O'Neil, Palm Desert, CA
