Joseph L. Minasso

Joe Minasso, age 73, passed away in Ontario on December 6, 2013 surrounded by his family. Joe was born March 26, 1940 in Ontario, Ca and was a lifelong resident. Joe graduated from Chaffey High School in 1959 and began working for the city of Ontario. He worked for the city of Ontario for 40 years, retiring in 1997 as the water superintendent. Joe married Elena Minasso on October 5, 1963, recently celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. Joe and Elena had four children, Joey (Rosa), Lucy (Joe), and Rosie (Anthony) and one that preceded his death, Luigi. Joe is also preceded in death by his parents Joe and Julia Minasso, his brother Steve, his sister Maria Scarrone and his niece Theresa Scarrone. Joe is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, Noah, Victoria, Joey, Lauren, Izabella, and Carlee, brother and sister in law (Steve and Krys) nieces (Janette, Joanne, Christine, Lydia, Katie and Robert), many loving cousins and close friends. Joe had a big heart, smile, and always a kind word for everyone. His passing will leave a void in the hearts of all who knew him. Services will be held Thursday December 12th at 10:00am at St. George Catholic Church, interment following at Bellevue Memorial Park.
