

Juanita Marion (Scharf) Goff, 83 of Waldport, Oregon, died at her home on December 23, 2012. She was born July 14, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois to Joseph John and Edith Ann (Euler) Scharf. Juanita was a retired vocational nurse. She enjoyed knitting, reading mysteries, working puzzle books and playing computer games.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Patricia Ann Magsam; brother Donald Scharf and nephew Donald F. Scharf.
She is survived by daughters Juanita Herrera of Silverton, California and Rose (Paul) Shields of Claremont, California; son Joe (Kim) Goff of Salem, Illinois; sister Claire (Frank) Brodkin of Mulberry, Arkansas; grandchildren, Randy Ebersole of Nevada, Daniel, Jennifer (Brian) and Andrew Herrera of Oregon, Scott (Tiffani) and David Sheilds of California and Thomas, Brittany and Melissa Goff of Illinois as well as five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A vigil was held on Dec. 27 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Waldport where a funeral service followed on Dec. 28th. A graveside service is being held on Thrusday, January 3, 2012 at Bellevue Memorial Park,1240 W. G Street, Ontario, Calfornia at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking donations be made to the Saint Vincent de Paul Society in Juanita's name.
