

She was born, Katherine Ann Fraser on December 3, 1949 in Glendale, California to parents, James and Shirley (Scheller) Fraser. While she grew up in Monterey Park and attended Montebello High School and Fullerton Junior College, she was a Chino Hills resident for over 40 years.
Kathy loved children and spent most of her life as a pre-school and kindergarten teacher. She was an elite swimmer as a teenager and qualified as an alternate for the 1968 U.S. Olympic team in Mexico City. Kathy was a regular spectator at all of her children’s and grandchildren’s sports and activities through the years. She was also an avid Dodgers, Lakers, and UCLA basketball fan who always made time to watch each game on television from start to finish.
Kathy is survived by her sons Mike (Andrea) Wood of Chino, and Tom (MaryBeth) Wood of Highpoint, North Carolina, daughter, Krystle Winters (Cody) of Fontana and brother, John (Kim) Fraser of Galt, California. She was blessed with three grandchildren, Jared and Cameron Wood of Chino and Angela Wood of Highpoint, North Carolina.
