Born on January 12, 1954, in Lynwood, California, Larry lived a life marked by quiet strength, selfless service, and unwavering faith. A proud veteran, he served his country with honor and continued to serve others throughout his life in countless meaningful ways. Larry had many hobbies and had many jobs over his lifetime but real estate appraiser was his main job.
Larry was deeply devoted to his family and faith. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Zumwalt; his children, Dustin Zumwalt, Steve Marin, Tanya Aceves, he has 10 grandkids, and 9 great grandchildren. Larry is survived by his two siblings Carol Lifflander and Joann Boardman and their families, as well as a host of family and friends who were blessed by his kindness and generosity.
Known for his open heart and willing hands, Larry never hesitated to lend help when it was needed.
Whether it was offering a tool, a ride, a word of encouragement, or simply his time, he gave freely and joyfully. His greatest passion was sharing the love of Jesus, and he lived that message daily in the way he treated others—with humility, compassion, and grace.
Larry leaves behind a legacy of faith, service, and unconditional love. Though he will be deeply missed, his spirit lives on in the countless lives he touched.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you continue Larry’s legacy by helping someone in need or sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ just as he always did.
