Lucio G. Gomez

He was the 9th child and the final survivor of 12, born to Ramon & Victoriana Gomez from Guasti, CA. He served in the United States Air Force from 1951-1955. In 1997 he retired from Lockheed/Martin after 42 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Veterans of Foreign Wars and The American Legion.

In his younger years, he played the drums and the guitar. He loved music but really enjoyed Mariachi music, Tom Jones, Fats Domino, Elvis... He loved to tell stories about "The beginning of time", watch Dodger baseball, loved to read, eat strawberries, chocolate, and most of all spend time with family.

He had a beautiful marriage of 65 years. Survived by his wife Josephine "Fina" Gomez as well as Six children: Susan Gomez (Roger) De Santiago, David Gomez, Joyce Gomez (Anthony) Reyes, Denis Gomez, Nancy Gomez (Brian) Shaw, Erick (Denise) Gomez. Grandchildren 21, Great-grandchildren 19.
