I know this is a bit late but her memory is ALWAYS with me as if she’s still around me when I do certain things or go certain places that we would attend together. And,  remember Ruben would send me a txt the 1st few yrs of her remembrance. ✝️ Gone , but definitely not forgotten my friend.💕.

Do not cry for me, for I am still here.I needed to be set free in body, but in your hearts u can still hold me dear. Don't mourn my memory for I will always be around, I  have taken a part of you with me and now I am safe and sound. Heavens trumpets were sounding for me so I had to go,  I am with my King now for this you must know. Wow, what can I say that could decribe Nena.  Im so glad I got to see you before the Lord came for you.  I really did have a good childhood with you.  You made me laugh and I you were very outspoken.  As adults, you married and I moved on but I still considered you my friend.  I know you were sick but didn't realize how bad.  My thr Lord embrace you as yoou enter your new golden mansion honey.  I Love You

Aww,  Nena....your smile and laughter will always be remembered. I remember when The Rock was in Cucamonga, you and MaryJo were sharing a private joke during church, and Pastor Ray called you guys out on that! You and MaryJo got all serious, quick! After church, we were busting up over your public humiliation. LOL.  Good times......rest in peace, my friend.

My heart is sadden on losing a friend whom you grew up with and had plenty of fun memories since our childhood days to being grown adults. Last I saw you we were in the market and our little conversation turned into a long talk in the aisle you told me you were tired and wanted to go back to work and you were in engaged to be married. I was happy for you and heard of your determination to get over your bump in the road and said, all I can do is leave it Gods hand and pray as I did for you the days you were in the hospital I am sorry I did not go and see you but I want to remember the smile on your face and the happiness in your voice when you introduced me to your fiancé and that is how I want to remember my friend. Nena we had plenty of fun memories cruising in the car to hanging out at your moms when she would make strawberry cookies and the pickles in the Tupperware container. dear friend I know you will be missed by family and friends, you have a new journey as God holds you hand showing you what paradise truly is. Rest in Peace Nena and thank you for being a my friend and part of my life along with many others.
