Manuel worked for the City of Ontario, a place he held close to his heart and spoke of with lasting pride and affection. Through the steady rhythm of work and daily life, he carried himself with a grounded devotion to home and community, and he will be remembered with deep respect by all who knew him.
Those closest to Manuel knew that a quiet joy often lived just beneath the surface, evident in his sense of humor and the way he could bring lightness to ordinary moments. He enjoyed listening to oldies and had a fondness for boxing. He also liked watching the History Channel, *Bonanza*, boxing, and baseball. Simple comforts mattered to him: morning coffee, enchiladas, and ice cream were among his favorites.
Manuel was preceded in his passing by his parents, Manuel & Louisa Arias, and his wife, Rosemary Tayaba. He is survived by his daughter, Inez Arias; granddaughter, Alexa Perez; grandson, Michael Garcia; great-grandchildren, Avaiah and Kailoh; and his sisters, Patricia Rodriguez, Jackie Killam, Yolanda Arias-Heflin, and Joan Arias-Balwochus.
Manuel will be remembered with gratitude and respect for the life he lived, the laughter he shared, and the enduring love he leaves with his family.
