Maria J. Vaz

Throughout her life, Maria’s steady devotion was most clearly seen in the way she cared for her family. A wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she carried her responsibilities with quiet strength and unwavering commitment. She offered the kind of presence that brought reassurance, continuity, and warmth to the generations she nurtured.

Maria is reunited with her husband, João Vaz. She is survived by her three children and their spouses: Nellie & Fernando Rocha, João & Zelia Rocha, and Jose Rocha. As well as her 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Draper Mortuary, 811 North Mountain Ave, Ontario, CA 91762, on July 22, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 2713 S Grove Ave, Ontario, CA 91761, on July 23, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

A Committal Service will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park, 1240 W G St, Ontario, CA 91762, on July 23, 2026, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.
