
Marvin De Bie, 85, of Ontario, died on January 31, 2016. He was born on August 14, 1930, in Ireton, Iowa. He served in the army for 2 years in Korea. He was a dairyman for 40 years, and was a partner with his late brother, Henry, at De Bie Brothers Dairy in Ontario until 1985. He then worked as a custodian at Ontario Christian Elementary School for 15 years. He also volunteered for 14 years at Meals For Wheels. He was a lifelong member of the Christian Reformed Church, serving as both elder and deacon.
He is survived by his wife, Henrietta De Bie of Ontario; son, Robert De Bie (Susan) of Twin Falls, Idaho; daughters, Rose De Bie-Bowman (Andrew) of Grand Rapids, Michigan; Rhonda De Bie of Chino; Joan De Bie Archer (Thomas) of Twin Falls, Idaho; Lori De Bie (Michael Vander Wilt) of Holland, Michigan; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Leona Luth (Hank) of Chino; and Betty Carol Wigboldy of Ontario.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, February 18, at Crosspoint Church, 6950 Edison Avenue, in Chino. Burial will be at Riverside National Cemetery.
