Merrill Edward Henry II, everyone knew as "Eddie" passed away on December 18th, 2021 at the age of 67. He was born on December 18th, 1954 in Downey, California to Merrill and Dorothy Henry. He resided in Norwalk as a young boy. grew up in Montclair and graduated from Montclair High School in 1973.
Eddie was the fourth child of what was to be eight children, six girls, and two boys. Eddie was the oldest son, and with that carried a lot of responsibility.
At the age of 16, Eddie and his brother George along with a friend started their own lawn mowing business and eventually grew that up to 65 accounts throughout high school.
After graduation, Eddie went to work for Granger's Heating and Air and moved on to a career as a truck driver where he stayed until his retirement.
Eddie has made countless friends throughout his life and always made it a point to stay in touch with everyone, he was known to love a good conversation.
He talked to everyone he met, always had a kind word, could make you laugh and leave you with a smile.
He loved fishing, grew up riding motorcycles in the desert, shooting guns, and trips to the river.
Eddie enjoyed the simple things in life like a good meal, great conversations, spending time with family and friends, and a day at the Derby room.
Eddie was loved by all his family and friends and when he left, a piece of our hearts left with him.
Eddie is predeceased by his parents, sisters Paula and Dorothy, his brother George, niece Audra Anne and nephews little Al and baby George.
Eddie is survived by his sisters Sylvia Granger (Pete), Patricia Granger (Mark), Kay Gubba-Reiner, and Brenda Gonzalez (Al) along with eleven nieces and nephews and their families.
Eddie, we love you and our hearts are broken now that you're gone, our memories of you will live forever. Say "Hi" to everyone until we meet again.
