Mikki Michelle Robinson, 72, passed away on August 5, 2026. She was born October 4, 1953, in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania. Mikki resided in Alta Loma, California for 30 years. She built her professional life as a Human Resource Manager, bringing care and steadiness to work that centered on people. In every part of her life, she was guided by a love given fully—wholeheartedly, with soul, and without condition—offering warmth and generosity that made others feel seen and supported. She was the kind of person who would give anyone the shirt off her back, and she carried deep pride and immense love for her children and grandchildren who meant everything to her.
Mikki’s life was also shaped by a love story rooted in enduring connection: long time friends who fell in love many years later and created a beautiful life together. She loved her late husband, Ed, with all her heart, and when he passed, a piece of her went with him. She carried that love with her for the rest of her life.
She found joy in the music that spoke to the heart—Motown, Celine Dion, Air Supply, Chicago, and love songs, —and her favorite color, pink, suited the brightness she brought to everyday. She loved all animals, a love that began with dogs, especially Scottie dogs. Among them all, dolphins held a particularly special place in her heart. Mikki was a true foodie, with a special talent in the kitchen. She especially loved steak and lobster, and could always make room for peanut M&Ms and Rocky Road ice cream. She loved to dance, to spend time with her family, and to settle in with favorite watches like Grey’s Anatomy, AFV, and The Notebook. Kauai was her absolute favorite place after a dreamy vacation there with her husband, and she especially loved the beach at night. She saw beauty everywhere and found joy in the little things that made life special.
Mikki was preceded in death by Joseph Daniel Montini (father), Elizabeth Virginia Montini (mother), and Edward Gregory Robinson (husband).
She is survived by Angela Venaas (daughter) and Dana Venaas (son-in-law); Michael Ward (son) and Violet Ward (daughter-in-law); and her five grandchildren: Dillan Venaas, Alyssa Venaas, Jacob Ward, Anthony Ward, and Natalie Ward.
In the words that captured her enduring affection: “Love you to the moon and back.”
