Oh my . I used to live across the street from him from the age 5 till I was 19 . He was the sweetest neighbor ever . He would show us his airplanes his plum tree in his back yard and more . He use to bring us plums and Desert trays and they were so good . My father passed away in 2012 n they were good friends we use to always take him a plate of food whenever we had gatherings. Even after we moved I would stop by every so often to visit. Just going to ring his door bell just to even talk to him for bit was the best . He would always buy something from my fundraiser for school . He even met my daughter who was born in 2011 .  I wish I would have seen this or looked him up sooner I would have loved to pay my respects in person. You were the best neighbor Mr. Lubatti and I will never forget you . 

Uncle Nat was an amazing guy, so many fond memories of being at the Lubatti house growing up.  
I also remember the home movies, mostly the big 'ol blinding lights he had when filming! 
He was quick witted and so much fun.  He took care of Uncle Paul because he promised Aunt Mary he would, not an easy task, but, he did what he needed to do.  My oldest brother, Jeff remembers when the Hatt siblings would get into some big debate, Nat would take us kids outside and throw the football around.  I probably was hanging out with Anna and Teresa and doing other things, but, I do remember being outside in their front and back yard a great deal.  He truly seemed to enjoy being around all the kids.  And we all loved being around him.  
As an adult, I was able to appreciate what a great sense of humor he had and always looked forward to chatting with him at family events or gatherings.
That humor along with Aunt Mary's has been passed on to their kids, and I still have a great time when we all get together.
I know his kids and grandkids, and great grandkids will all miss him!  God Bless the Lubatti family during this time of loss.

I remember Uncle Nat, what my family called him even though we're not related, as a soft spoken, kind man. 
One memory of Nat took place while we were both visiting his brother, Bud, in a nursing home. I watched Nat feed his brother lunch. While the brothers bantered back and forth , Nat encouraged his brother to eat. This was such a touching moment to me. I will fondly remember Nat as a caring & loving brother to Bud. 
I send my deepest sympathy to Nat's family & friends. I pray that our Lord will comfort & encourage you.

I was way to young to know my Uncle Nat as well as my brothers and sister, but I did have the chance to reconnect at a family reunion in 2012.  I remembered that he loved aviation and remote control airplanes from when we visited in the 1980s and that stuck in my 10 year old mind and I couldn't wait to talk to him.   I had the privilege to join him on a trip to his flying field to watch him fly and meet his flying buddies.  We also tried to go to Chino to the Planes of Fame museum.  I just wanted to say I looked up to him, and he put up with my silly questions and jokes that whole trip, he even posed for a picture with his airplane.  Thanks for that Uncle Nat.  You are missed.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to my cousins Anna, Teresa, Joe, and John and their families.  Nat was my godfather and I always thought it was cool that I had a real "Italian Godfather".  I have so many great memories of Christmas time at the Lubatti's and Nat's home movies.  I'd laugh and laugh at them when he'd break out the projector.  My sister said it best when she said she hoped he know how loved he was by us all.  God be with you my friends.

My love and prayers to the family of Uncle Nat. He was a good, strong man and will be greatly missed. I have many many memories of Uncle Nat working in the garden, having coffee with Aunt Mary in the kitchen, laughing and joking with me and painting beautiful works of art. He was supportive of and a good friend to my mom when my dad passed away and took care of many family members in their last days. I hope he knew he was loved by all.
