Norman Charles Kirby, age 65, of Chino, CA, passed away with his loved ones by his side Tuesday, April 26, 2022. He is survived by his dedicated wife of 45 years: Joanne Kirby; his two sons and their wives: Brian and Renee Kirby and Steven and Jessica Kirby; dearest grandchildren: Cody, Camiren and Maverick; his mother: Lois Kirby; his two brothers: Dave Kirby and Mike Kirby; and a loving mix of sisters and brothers-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Norm was born August 2, 1956 at San Gabriel Valley Hospital in San Gabriel, CA. He graduated from Glendora High School, class of 1974. He married his childhood sweetheart in 1977. Together, Norm and Joanne bought their first home and built their little family. They moved to Chino in 1986. Norm was the pillar of responsibility, taking pride in the work you do and taking care of his family. He worked hard during the day and ensured he was present for his boys’ extracurricular activities. He followed suit with his grandchildren. Some of Norm’s favorite pastimes were taking trips to Las Vegas, deep sea fishing trips, playing golf, participating in community softball leagues, watching Dodgers Baseball and cheering on Rams Football. He had a stellar work ethic, setting an example of never calling in sick to work. His motto was – being 15 minutes early means you are on time. He recently retired in 2020 from his trade of being an electrician after 44 years. He worked hard, loved his family wholeheartedly, and was so proud of each of them. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him and will live forever in our hearts.
