Pamela Carlson was born in a small town smack dab in the middle of Utah in 1950. She was always a country girl at heart and because of her Danish descent she always kept things neat as a pin. Her parents owned a gas station next to their home in Ephraim, Utah and her childhood was always a fury of activity, excitement, and fun.
A studious girl graduating from high school, she was soon off to local Snow College, then to Brigham Young University where she graduated Bachelor of Arts degree in English. It was the sixties and California seemed like the happening place to be.
Off in her 1969 gold Camaro she went looking for work. Before long she was working at Knotts Berry Farm in the Finance Department saving up for a house with her new husband Ronald. Together they had three sons Jeremy, Chris, and Travis. She is blessed with two grandchildren as well, Dylan and Gywen.
The sons all went on successful missions for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and all became eagle scouts as well. Jeremy would often laugh and say she drove them mules, but she was a wonderful and caring mother.
She had many careers in her lifetime, Business Owner, Executive Secretary for General Dynamics, and as a graduate of Broadcasting School in Hollywood, a Radio Personality as well. As fate would have it she met Doug in Alcoholics Anonymous. They were married in 2006, they are both still sober today each with over 2o years. Pam and Doug, both loving adventure and nature, have spent the last two decades exploring the Southwestern United States in their Jeep Wrangler. Pamela was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease about five years ago, she has fought the illness effortlessly with dignity and grace. Till the very end her favorite thing to do was to drive up to Mount Baldy to see the pine trees, listen to the bubbling creek, hear the birds, and quietly commune with nature and certainly feel her heavenly father as well.
We will miss her beauty and wit, elegance, and charm. God Bless her.
