Patrick Joseph McInenly

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Patrick Joseph McInenly, known affectionately as Jim, of Montclair, California. Patrick peacefully entered into rest at the age of 85 on Sunday, December 3, 2023. Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey on June 18, 1938, Patrick's journey was marked by resilience, dedication, and a deep love for his family.

Having left high school early to support his family, Patrick served his country in the National Guard and embarked on a career as a warehouse associate in plumbing fixtures, where he dedicated over 25 years of his life.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Jim was a man of diverse talents and passions. A lifelong motorcycle enthusiast, he began riding at the age of 13 and continued to do so until only months before his passing. A skilled handyman and mechanic, Jim found joy in assisting friends and family whenever an opportunity arose.

Survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Darlene, Patrick's legacy is further carried by their three children: James McInenly, Teresa Moder, and Coy Yearwood. He is also fondly remembered by five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Adding a touch of warmth to his legacy, Patrick leaves behind his cherished cat, Cali "gurl," ensuring his presence is felt not only among family but also in the company of his beloved feline companion. In these memories and connections, Patrick's spirit lives on, touching the lives of those he held dear.
