Patrick Eugenio-Achille Serna

Patrick was born on St. Patrick’s day March 17, 1939 with his twin sister, Patricia, to father Martin and mother Vivian Serna in New Mexico. After Patrick graduated from Highland Highschool in 1957, he went on to achieve his Bachelor’s of Science at California State University, Los Angeles.

He then graduated with his MBA at University of Southern California, Los Angeles and started his career as an accountant, kickstarting an over 32 year career in the aerospace industry.

In 1960, Patrick met Evangeline Marie Melendez on a blind date. Pat became a father to Eva’s daughter, Dianne and Pat and Eva went on to have one child, Martin Serna.

In 1998, Pat retired and spent his time taking care of his only grandchild, Ryleigh. He took on mentorship and teaching roles at local schools and colleges, tended to his lawn, enjoyed computer work and volunteering. Most of all he spent his time enjoying life with Eva.

Pat was predeceased by his parents, Martin and Vivian and his sister, Sandra. He is survived by his wife, Eva, daughter, Dianne, son-in-law, Dan, son, Martin, granddaughter, Ryleigh, and his twin sister, Patricia.

Services will be held at St. Peter and St. Paul Parish (9135 Banyan St, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91737) on June 29, 2023 at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to House of Ruth, an organization Pat felt strongly about
