

Raul Felix 85 but if you asked him 27 years old was born on February 27, 1940 to parents Cruz Felix and Espedita (Cervantez) Felix. He was the youngest of 6 brothers and would later be raised by the older boys and aunt once his parents passing. He grew up in the El Barrio of Claremont/ Montclair and hung out with the group of boys known as the Casanovas.
Raul graduated high school in 1958 and would be drafted to the Army the same year. He would serve 2 terms, his drafted and a voluntary enlistment as telecommunication in Alaska. During leave he would enjoy visiting his brother Ernest base where the 2 played many tricks on the privates that worked in the kitchen. Raul was honorably discharged in 1966 and would soon start his family after returning home. He would go on to have 2 daughters and a son with Veronica. Taking them on many trips to Ensenada with his brother and his family.
Raul was always the life of the party full of smiles and laughter for all that was around him. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Raul loved going on his turn around trips, going to the horse races, hanging out at Janie’s Sports Lounge where he would catch football on Sundays and going on his very many adventures with the babes.
Raul is preceded in death by his parents Cruz and Espedita, brothers Joe, Angel, Ignacio, Ernest and Salvador along with his grandson Vincent. He is survived by daughter Cindy, her husband Joe, daughter Denise, her wife Michelle and son Raul and his wife Denise. As well as grandchildren Chris, Frances (the babes), Veronica, Mario, Bernadette, Ethan, Julian, Justine, Tabitha, Matt and Alex. Along with 8 great grandchildren.
Rosary services will be held on December 2nd from 4:00PM-8:00PM at Drapers mortuary.
Grave side services will be held on December 3rd at 10:30AM at the National Cemetery in Riverside.
