Renita and I went to Fresno State and worked at CIGNA together. Friends for over 25 years. Our CIGNA crew made it one of the best jobs and full of lasting friends. Renita always had a smile on her face, wonderful personality and full of love and laughter. Thank you for all the fantastic memories through college and work party days. I still see you smiling.  

Renita, thanks my friend for being the window and which other people including myself saw Christ reflected in you every time we met. You were a real and true woman of God, a trooper in parenting skills, valued true friendships and loyal to family and to your community. You are truly missed. I feel blessed to have been in your life, and the life of your family. Know that I will commit myself to assist with Nylah in any way possible. I can hear the Lord saying, “well done good and faithful servant, it is time to come home.” Although we will miss you here, you’re spending your first year with Jesus, Can’t get no better than that. I love you Renita with the love of the Lord and I always told you it was nothing you could do about it. One day, we shall meet again.

Renita was one of the first people I met back in college at Fresno State University. I will remember her for that big beautiful smile. My sincere condolences to her family and all who loved her dearly, especially her loving sister Vanessa. Praying for God's grace and mercy to bring you through this difficult time.

Renita you were always a magical person to me. Beautiful, kind, funny and sweet. I never new a person that did not love you.   Growing up you were the big sister I never had.   A loving and good daughter.  My own mother (Patricia Ray) claimed you as her own.   A truly great friend is hard to find, difficult to leave and impossible to replace.  Renita you are Irreplaceable.  You are one of the people who made my life better just by being in it.  Thank you for being such an inspiration. Thank you for watching over us growing up and I’m sure even more now that you are present with the Lord!  We love you forever!

We shared lunches every Thursday in downtown LA as we worked one building apart....you called me "Hector" and laughed at my expense! Two friends who's background were world's apart, but it didn't matter to us....we shared deep conversation, food, and best of all....just made innocent, playful jabs at each other! This was the best part of my time with you! I will miss that huge smile and laugh that made our short lunches special! Rest in eternal peace my friend....I look forward to joining you someday and resume our playful back and forth banter!

I remember such a beautiful smile and kind spirit.  Your sense of humor was very infectious.  I will always treasure our conversations and how you made me laugh so hard.  You even got me to participate in the Relay for Life Cancer walk.  I am so thankful that we were friends outside of work.  Rest in peace Renita.
