I remember ome day I received a message from Merk through Instagram he hit me up one day and asked if I could help out with his RED CART EVENT. It was something different in the community and I was willing to help out and help make a difference. His show was a huge success and went on having a Part 2.  
The 2Fast2Furious Show was off the chain another event that will be talked about forever. Merk had a vision and wanted to share it with the world and hopes he went viral. He had success and was on the road for big things. It's sad to see a talent taken away from us soo early.  I feel bad I couldn't make it to his last event I was down with an bad ankle sprain and called me convinced me to take pain medication something I never do to make it to the show and capture another sick ass moment. So I did took the pill and I passed out so I never made it. My deepest condolences to his wife, kids and family.
Funniest moment with Merk was when we filmed the Joker video. I remember pulling up with and he had the biggest smile on his face walks up to my car and says  " YOU NEVER GUESS WHO ROLLED UP" who? THESE NUTS!!! 
I laughed at his joke cuz it was funny he got me. So when I go around the block and park I see The Joker and Welven da Great DEEZ NUTS HIMSELF. One of my best videos I have ever put out.  Appreciate you bro and everything you did for the community. Tried to bring everyone together to throw Banger Meets.

My condolences to the family I know it is hard to lose a loved one but always remember he was great he was devoted husband and father and friend he did such a good thing to the car community and his life was cut short but he will be missed from everyone but his name will always be remembered

Reymundo “Merk” Diaz  01/31/88-07/29/21, Resident of Compton, Ca tragically passed away in a traffic collision on his way home from work. 

Rey also went by the name Merk, he was only 33 years old and had his whole life ahead of him. He was a hard working family oriented guy, he loved being a dad more than anything In this world; he is leaving behind 2 bonus sons that he raised and took care of as if they were his own ages 12 and 6 and in 2020 he was estatic with the arrival of his newest addition  baby Adrian who is now 1 years old and will only know his father from stories and photos.

Merk had big dreams and always pushed to accomplish his goals, he was a big visionary in the car community, he brought people together from all walks of life with his events that he always took to the next level, he was also a truck driver, videographer and marketing master that was always “breaking the internet”
