Robert was born to Rodger Campbell and Viola Montgomery in Kansas, on February 24, 1931. He graduated high school and went on to be a maintenance supervisor, working in the education industry for 75 years. Robert and his family lived in Altadena, residing in Los Angeles county for 2 years.
