Rodolfo D Cariño

Rodolfo built a successful career over 30 years as a welder and auto builder, work that reflected steady dedication, practical skill, and the quiet pride of someone who preferred to let results speak for themselves.

He was married to his beloved wife, Paulita Cariño. Their story began at her uncle’s auto shop, where they met and started a life together grounded in devotion and strengthened by family.

A man of simple joys and steady routines, Rodolfo enjoyed country songs and loved spending time watching wrestling, basketball, and showtime on TV. His favorite shows included Batang Quiapo and Sigabo. He also found peace in gardening and took special pleasure in good food, particularly fish and grilled pork.

Rodolfo was a man of few words, remembered for a gentle spirit and a kind, helpful nature that made others feel at ease. Above all, he was proud of his truest legacy; the loving, caring family he helped nurture.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Priscilla Cariño Mercado. He is survived by his wife, Paulita Cariño; his daughter, Jennifer Almanzor; and his sons, Ricardo Cariño and Rodolfo Cariño.
