Preceded in death by his 3 children sons Salvador Gomez, Roy Gomez & daughter Rita Delarosa-Fernandez

Survived by his love Mona of 24 years. Daughters Ruby (Raul) Rodriguez, Jennie Martinez & Renee Gomez-Avila all of Ontario.

18 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren & 18 great-great grandchildren also one brother Lucio “Muggs” (Fina) Gomez Ontario.

Rod was born March 10, 1935 in the small town of Guasti to Ramon & Victoriana Gomez. The family moved to Ontario where he remained a life long resident. He served in the United States Army. He went on to receive his Aeronautics certification having a 40 years career with General Electric Aviation, retiring a Inspector

He loved baseball and never missed an opportunity to watch the LA Dodgers play a game. He loved music and played several instruments, including saxophone, guitar and drums. He enjoyed listening to music such as Blues, Jazz and old school R & B. He loved going to the “Oldies but Goodies” dance and dancing the night away with Mona.

Lastly his pride was his family’s history; he always had a good story to tell.

He will always be remembered and forever missed.
