

Sherry was born on January 23, 1947, in Pennsylvania to Jim and Mildred Byrd.
Sherry went on to earn a BSN in nursing and devoted 35 years to the profession. Sherry’s career was marked by compassionate service and meaningful dedication. A great achievement in her life was becoming a cancer nurse, a role that reflected her steady commitment to caring for others. She was also involved in the Ombudsman group, offering support and advocacy where it was needed.
Sherry was married for 52 years to David Mueller. They met at the Post Office, where they developed a romance that endured through the seasons of life. Sherry was a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and her family remained at the center of her life.
Sherry found joy in traveling, celebrating the holidays, gardening, and reading. She also liked going to the movies, appreciating the time spent sharing experiences and making memories.
Sherry is reunited with her parents, Jim and Mildred, and sister, Alice, and granddaughter, Corrina.
Sherry is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Sherry will be remembered as a compassionate nurse, devoted wife, and a loving mother and grandmother.
