Swan E. Carmean, of Highland, CA passed away peacefully at the age of 89 on July 17, 2022 in the presence of her loving family. Swan was born in Texas in 1933. She met the love of her life, Bill Carmean, at Chaffey High School in 1947; they were married for 71 years. Swan was a strong woman of faith. She enjoyed serving the Lord, attending church, knitting hats for charity and watching her great-grandchildren grow. Swan was preceded in death by her parents John and Josie Foster, sister Erma and son Daniel. She is survived by her husband Bill, sisters Mary and Kathy, daughters Rhonda and Annette, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and an extended family. Per Swan’s wishes, there will be no memorial service; however, donations can be made in her honor to Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, online at soth.org, by mail, or in person at 6080 Haven Ave, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91737.
