My granddaughter’s middle name is Pearl, so it was perfect 💜

Samineh, my eldest daughter was pregnant with her first daughter. Little did we know, you would gift our granddaughter with her name.

I'm sorry to see this.  Ms. Teisi was such a beautiful soul.  She was the kind of woman whose strength didn't need words, you could feel it in her presence, in the way she loved, gave, and cared for everyone around her.  A true matriarch, with a heart big enough to hold an entire family together.  Her kindness was her legacy, her generosity her language, and her faith her guiding light.  It's hard to imagine life without her here, but there's peace in knowing she's now resting in the garden of God, surrounded by light,love, and the beauty she so freely shared in this world.  May her spirit continue to inspire us, her love continue to comfort us, and her memory live forever in our hearts.

She loved attending family functions. 2018 in Moreno Valley, CA

I grew up knowing her kindness and unconditional love towards my late grandfather Malama. She also extended her love and devotion to my Mom Sela who also pass away five years ago. Still her love for us never end because she was perfect of example of motherhood. One of my favorite memories that marked me for life is that her devotion to attend every special milestones in our lives, she never missed. I am completely in awe and grateful for her 💗, me and my siblings shared wonderful memories that never end. I also loved every moments that she took to teach me how to bake fruit cake, ohh it is the best recipe and I will treasure it. She made sure that we were clothed with the best qualities and fashioned and not less, her jewels that was gifted to her from her children and relative she easily gave it away to us. When Mafi knew that my mom is struggling here in Tonga she would gather her grandkids and tell sad stories that she misses my mom and so on and her grandkids would rush back to their parents and ask for a donation. Then they return and gave her the money then she would send it to my mom and call Sela ko ena? When my mom ask Mafi koe fiha? She would responded, 'Alu pe koe ki ai pea ka I ai oku i ai pea ka ikai ka koe toe ha mea fai? Hahahahhaa She makes us laugh even when she knows that sometimes it is hard. She was a pure joy when we had her in our humbl home. Ohh Mafi the story of her love goes on but it lingers. "Mapaki a e fa ka 'Oku kei Alaha" is a phrase in Tonga that expresses my sincere condolences and gratitude for Mafi's children and grandchildren and great grandchildren for sharing her life with us. She is the role model of great love. Mafi you're greatly missed and we appreciate you so much, sorry that we are not there but I am confident that I will see you again. 😊
