Walter Dave Wyler

Dave was born in San Luis Obispo, Ca. Feb 24, 1955, the second child of Don and Mable. Dave grew up mostly in Ontario, Ca. And graduated from Chaffey High School in 1973 where he enjoyed playing football and ran track. He met his wife, Linda while they were sophomores at Chaffey. Dave went on to Chaffey College for 2 years and then joined the Millwright union at age 20, and worked in this field till he retired in 2018. He was a 3rd generation millwright following in the steps of his grandfather and father, later to become Vice President of Operations for EthosEnergy Field Services.

While not working Dave was a true lover of the outdoors and enjoyed many passions such as golf, fly fishing, ocean fishing, bowling, hunting, shooting, skiing and backpacking. His other passion was for his family whom he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Mable and by brother in law Michael Bliss. He is survived by his wife Linda, daughter Katie Nielsen, son in law Ryan Nielsen and grandsons Nathan, Collin and Andrew, also survived by daughter Megan Davis, son in law Ricky Davis, and grand daughters Addison and Viviene.

Dave is survived by sister Vickie and brother in law Randy Turner and brother in laws Ron Bliss, Jay Bliss (Maria), Richard Bliss and many nephews and nieces.

Dave is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Services will be held Thursday June 8th 10am visitation, 11am services at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 1375 N Willow Ave. Rialto, CA 92376. Graveside services held Thursday June 8th 1:00pm at Bellevue Memorial Park 1240 W. G St, Ontario, Ca 91762.
