Craig was known by all who met him as a loving, gentle-hearted man and devoted father. He was generous beyond measure, always willing to lend a helping hand or freely share the knowledge and wisdom he had gained throughout his life. He taught his sons, Billy and Shane—whom he never gave up on—the value of perseverance, hard work, and how to provide for and cherish their families.
Craig deeply loved and treasured both his immediate and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Lee Ann Riggenbach, and his beloved daughter, Megan Carroll.
He is survived by his sons, Billy and Shane Riggenbach; brothers, Kerry Riggenbach, Brett Riggenbach, and Mark Riggenbach; his sisters, Ronna Branham and Janna Blakeley; his kind daughter-in-law, Sue Riggenbach; his amazing aunt, Cinda Remaely; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who will carry on his legacy.
The family invites you to join them for a funeral service at Wappner Funeral Directors and Crematory-Ontario, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 2:00 pm, where we will honor Craig’s life and say, “See you on the other side, Dad”. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm. The service will be immediately followed by a funeral procession to Mansfield Memorial Park. There, we will pass through the strong, beautiful masonry piers Craig built with his own hands—a testament to the man widely known as the finest bricklayer in Mansfield. He will be laid to rest there until Resurrection Day.
The family kindly requests that flowers be sent to Wappner Funeral Directors and Crematory-Ontario.
