He was born on September 5, 1954, in Mansfield, Ohio, to the late John and Elizabeth (Hager) Kudrak. David graduated from Mansfield Senior High School in 1972. He started his career at Mansfield Tool & Die that same year. In 1978 he went to Hydromatic to become an industrial engineer. David was hired to work at General Motors from 1980 to 2010, spanning 30 years as a tool & die maker. He had a wonderful sense of humor with the great ability of making people laugh. He told many stories during family gatherings of the adventures he had growing up with his two brothers.
