Denny, the beloved son of Alice Ilene Boyd and Handy N. Boyd (deceased), was born May 20, 1960. He graduated from Shelby High School in 1979 and from North Central State College with an Associate's Degree.
After high school, he worked at Westinghouse and other businesses before launching into real estate for the past thirty years -- first at Musgrove Realty and then at Sluss Realty where he has provided exceptional service to both buyers and sellers.
He loved trucks, cars, lawn mowers, tractors (especially John Deer tractors) -- basically anything that can be driven.
Denny will be dearly missed by his mother, Alice “Ilene” Boyd and sister Yvonne Boyd (Wayne Wells), Aunt Hazel Creasy and cousins.
Friends and family are invited to visitation for Dennis at Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road, Ontario, Ohio 44906 on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, the funeral will follow at 2:00 P.M. Dennis will be buried at Mansfield Memorial Park, 2507 Park Avenue West, Mansfield, Ohio 44906.
Dennis was a good man and will be greatly missed by his family and others who got to know him.
A special "Thank You" to the paramedics/EMT's and Ohio Health Mansfield Hospital emergency room staff who tried valiantly to save him on Thursday evening, May 21, 2026.
