Ken was born on March 28, 1955, in Cleveland, OH, to Charles E. DeHart and Alice M. (DeHart) Jenkins.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann DeHart; son, Matthew Tyler DeHart; daughter-in-law, Stacey Lynn DeHart; and grandsons, Kale Tyler DeHart and Bryson Matthew DeHart. He is preceded in death by his father Charles E. DeHart; mother, Alice M. (DeHart) Jenkins; stepfather, Walter E. Jenkins; brother, Charles DeHart; and sister, Susan DeHart.
Ken served his country spending time in the United States Marine Corps, the United States Air Force, and the Air National Guard. Ken was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed the simple joys of life- reading his Bible, fishing, gardening, cooking, watching football, and spending time with his family. His dedication to his faith endured until his passing—he trusted that Jesus had paid the price for his sins by dying on the cross.
Friends may visit on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Wappner Funeral Directors and Crematory-Ontario, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. Funeral services led by Pastor Dave Matos of Bryn Zion Baptist Church will immediately follow. He will be laid to rest at Mansfield Memorial Park, 2507 Park Ave W., Ontario, OH 44906. Military honors will also be presented by the US Marine Corps.
