In 2009, after more than thirty-five years of socio-psychotherapeutic practice, with doctorates in clinical psychology and sociology, he retired, devoting himself, since, to Conversations, conversing informally, gratis, with others. John was Board Certified in Clinical Psychology (retired) by the American Board of Professional Psychology, and a Fellow (Emeritus) of the American Academy of Clinical Psychology. A member for eighteen years of American Mensa, he once was its Supervisory Psychologist.
