Phyllis "Lynn" Hunt

Lynn was born on June 10, 1960, in Crestline, Ohio, to the late Phyllis Irene (Harr) and Joseph Walters. Loving, caring and devoted, Lynn was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and friend who loved her grandbabies dearly. She was “Nana” to her grandkids and a mother to all. She had the ability to encourage and make everyone feel comfortable and that they were important. Lynn was selfless and loved cooking, baking and sharing with others. She enjoyed attending church and playing the piano.

Lynn is survived by her husband of nearly 44 years, David Hunt; children, Cody Hunt, and twins, Kyle (Penni) Hunt and Christopher (Terra) Hunt; six grandchildren, Rylie, Baylie, Allie, Liam, Louella, Loxley Hunt; two fur babies, Jazu and Shera; two siblings, Leona Parr and Wince Walters; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Walters.

The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 pm on Friday, October 9, 2026, at Wappner Funeral Directors and Crematory-Ontario, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The funeral service will immediately follow at 6:00 pm with Pastor Matthew Pond officiating.
