She was born December 15, 1944, in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania, to the late Sarah (Shaw) and William Raymond Troup. Sally was an amazing mom, grandma and great-grandma and considered being a homemaker her privilege and her greatest achievement. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed being in their company, especially her grandchildren. Sally loved her family dearly and every one of them will treasure the memories they made together.
Sally was loyal and loved having fun—some might say she was goofy at times, and she loved that description of herself. She was the most kind and gentle soul you ever met. She enjoyed wintering in Florida with her husband, Joseph, and going to Cedar Point with her grandchildren. Sally also enjoyed going to Lake Erie and relaxing. Her weiner dog, Mickey, was always by her side.
Sally is survived by her husband, Joseph C. Micheli; two children, Scott Micheli and Traci Micheli Johnston; five grandchildren, Zoe King, Matti King, Avril Copeland, Mia Micheli, and Zane Micheli; brother, Robert Troup.
She was preceded in death by death by her parents; grandfather and grandmother Shaw; and two uncles, Fred and Slim Shaw.
A private memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Wappner Funeral Directors and Crematory-Ontario is honored to serve the family.
