He graduated from Madison High School in 1972 where he played football and baseball. Steve worked for ODOT for 32 years as a project supervisor, retiring as a TM3. He was proud of his project completions including: the Illinois Avenue bridge, roundabout on Middle-Bellville Rd. and adding a third lane to State Route 71 in Richland County. Remember Steve whenever you cross over any bridge in Richland County because he most likely worked on it. He also worked as a project supervisor with REL after his retirement.
On December 10, 1983, he married Cynthia Garrison and they shared over 39 wonderful years together. Steve loved his sports, following the Browns, Indians and Ohio State. He enjoyed spending time at Lake Erie.
