She was born on June 12, 1931, the daughter of Waldo and Dorothy (Christian) Sneary. Wanda was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed camping, cruises and working with her flowers. She especially loved her animals, most recently, two dogs, Sweet Pea and Lola, and three birds, Lucy, Gracie, and Leah.
Wanda is survived by her two children, Kenneth (Marie) Beddow of Lexington, OH, and Kathy (Bud) Butcher of Summersville, WV; three stepsons, Scott (Cheryl) Newcomb of Red Wing, MN, Mark (Sharon) Newcomb of Granville, OH, and Bryon (Laurie, deceased) Newcomb of Burlington, IA; thirteen grandchildren, Angela, Melissa, Becky, Katelyn, Nicholas, Alexander, John, David, Travis, Heather, Ashley, Tim, and Cody; twenty-two great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; a sister, Brenda Neuman and her children, Aaron and Ethan of Summersville, WV; and a brother, James (Anne) Sneary and their children, Tracy, Brian, and Christopher of Estes Park, CO.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, John Newcomb; parents, Waldo and Dorothy Sneary; and sister, Peggy Sneary.
The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 am on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Wappner Funeral Directors and Crematory-Ontario, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 am. She will be laid to rest in Ashland County Memorial Park.
